Vibration in quantum physics means that “everything is energy”. We are beings that vibrate at certain frequencies. Each vibration is equivalent to a feeling and in the “vibrational” world, there are only two types of vibrations, the positive and the negative. Any feeling causes you to emit a vibrational frequency that can be positive or negative.

1 – The Thoughts

Every thought emits a frequency towards the Universe and that frequency returns towards the origin, then in that case, if you have negative thoughts, of discouragement, sadness, anger, fear, all of that turns towards you. That is why it is so important that you take care of the quality of your thoughts and learn to cultivate more positive thoughts.

2 – The Company We Keep

The people around you directly influence your vibrational frequency. If you surround yourself with happy, positive, determined people, you will also enter into that vibration. Now if you surround yourself with complaining, cursing and pessimistic people, be careful! They may be decreasing your frequency, and as a consequence preventing you from making the Law of Attraction work in your favor.

3 – The Music

Music is very powerful. If you only listen to music that speaks of death, betrayal, sadness, abandonment, all that will interfere in what you vibrate. Pay attention to the lyrics of the music you listen to, it may be decreasing your vibrational frequency. And remember: You draw into your life exactly what you vibrate.

4 – The Things You Look At

When you watch programs that deal with misfortune, death, betrayal, etc. your brain accepts that as a reality and releases a whole chemistry in your body, causing your vibrational frequency to be affected. Look at things that do you good, that make you laugh or happy and it will help you vibrate at a higher frequency.

5 – The Environment

Whether at home or at work, if you spend much of your time in a disorganized and dirty environment, this will also affect your vibrational frequency. Improve what is around you, organize and clean your environment. Show the Universe that you are apt to receive much more. Take care of what you already have.

6 – The Word

If you tend to complain or speak badly about things and people, this affects your vibrational frequency. To maintain your high frequency it is essential that you eliminate the habit of complaining and speaking badly about others. Thus avoid making dramas and victimizing yourself. Take responsibility for the choices of your life.

7 – The Gratitude

Gratitude positively affects your vibrational frequency. That is a habit that you should incorporate right now into your life. Start to thank for everything, for the good things and those that you consider not good, thanks for all the experiences that you have lived.

by MAYO CLINIC

Nonsuicidal self-injury, often simply called self-injury, is the act of deliberately harming your own body, such as cutting or burning yourself. It’s typically not meant as a suicide attempt. Rather, this type of self-injury is a harmful way to cope with emotional pain, intense anger and frustration.

While self-injury may bring a momentary sense of calm and a release of tension, it’s usually followed by guilt and shame and the return of painful emotions. Although life-threatening injuries are usually not intended, with self-injury comes the possibility of more-serious and even fatal self-aggressive actions.

Symptoms

Signs and symptoms of self-injury may include:

Scars, often in patterns

Fresh cuts, scratches, bruises, bite marks or other wounds

Excessive rubbing of an area to create a burn

Keeping sharp objects on hand

Wearing long sleeves or long pants, even in hot weather

Frequent reports of accidental injury

Difficulties in interpersonal relationships

Behavioral and emotional instability, impulsivity and unpredictability

Statements of helplessness, hopelessness or worthlessness

Forms of self-injury

Self-injury usually occurs in private and is done in a controlled or ritualistic manner that often leaves a pattern on the skin. Examples of self-harm include:

Cutting (cuts or severe scratches with a sharp object)

Scratching

Burning (with lit matches, cigarettes or heated, sharp objects such as knives)

Carving words or symbols on the skin

Self-hitting, punching or head banging

Piercing the skin with sharp objects

Inserting objects under the skin

Most frequently, the arms, legs and front of the torso are the targets of self-injury, but any area of the body may be used for self-injury. People who self-injure may use more than one method to harm themselves.

Becoming upset can trigger an urge to self-injure. Many people self-injure only a few times and then stop. But for others, self-injury can become a long-term, repetitive behavior.

When to see a doctor

If you’re injuring yourself, even in a minor way, or if you have thoughts of harming yourself, reach out for help. Any form of self-injury is a sign of bigger issues that need to be addressed.

Talk to someone you trust — such as a friend, loved one, doctor, spiritual leader, or a school counselor, nurse or teacher — who can help you take the first steps to successful treatment. While you may feel ashamed and embarrassed about your behavior, you can find supportive, caring and nonjudgmental help.

When a friend or loved one self-injures

If you have a friend or loved one who is self-injuring, you may be shocked and scared. Take all talk of self-injury seriously. Although you might feel that you’d be betraying a confidence, self-injury is too big a problem to ignore or to deal with alone. Here are some ways to help.

Your child. You can start by consulting your pediatrician or other health care provider who can provide an initial evaluation or a referral to a mental health professional. Express your concern, but don’t yell at your child or make threats or accusations.

Preteen or teenage friend. Suggest that your friend talk to parents, a teacher, a school counselor or another trusted adult.

Adult. Gently express your concern and encourage the person to seek medical and mental health treatment.

When to get emergency help

If you’ve injured yourself severely or believe your injury may be life-threatening, or if you think you may hurt yourself or attempt suicide, call 911 or your local emergency number immediately.

Also consider these options if you’re having suicidal thoughts:

Call your mental health professional if you’re seeing one.

Call a suicide hotline. In the U.S., call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK (1-800-273-8255) or use their webchat on suicidepreventionlifeline.org/chat.

Seek help from your school nurse or counselor, teacher, doctor, or other health care provider.

Reach out to a close friend or loved one.

Contact a spiritual leader or someone else in your faith community.

Causes

There’s no one single or simple cause that leads someone to self-injure. In general, self-injury may result from:

Poor coping skills. Nonsuicidal self-injury is usually the result of an inability to cope in healthy ways with psychological pain.

Difficulty managing emotions. The person has a hard time regulating, expressing or understanding emotions. The mix of emotions that triggers self-injury is complex. For instance, there may be feelings of worthlessness, loneliness, panic, anger, guilt, rejection, self-hatred or confused sexuality

Through self-injury, the person may be trying to:

Manage or reduce severe distress or anxiety and provide a sense of relief

Provide a distraction from painful emotions through physical pain

Feel a sense of control over his or her body, feelings, or life situations

Feel something — anything — even if it’s physical pain, when feeling emotionally empty

Express internal feelings in an external way

Communicate depression or distressful feelings to the outside world

Be punished for perceived faults

Risk factors

Most people who self-injure are teenagers and young adults, although those in other age groups also self-injure. Self-injury often starts in the preteen or early teen years, when emotions are more volatile and teens face increasing peer pressure, loneliness, and conflicts with parents or other authority figures.

Certain factors may increase the risk of self-injury, including:

Having friends who self-injure. People who have friends who intentionally harm themselves are more likely to begin self-injuring.

Life issues. Some people who injure themselves were neglected, were sexually, physically or emotionally abused, or experienced other traumatic events. They may have grown up and still remain in an unstable family environment, or they may be young people questioning their personal identity or sexuality. Some people who self-injure are socially isolated.

Mental health issues. People who self-injure are more likely to be highly self-critical and be poor problem-solvers. In addition, self-injury is commonly associated with certain mental disorders, such as borderline personality disorder, depression, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder and eating disorders.

Alcohol or drug use. People who harm themselves often do so while under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs.

Complications

Self-injury can cause a variety of complications, including:

Worsening feelings of shame, guilt and low self-esteem

Infection, either from wounds or from sharing tools

Permanent scars or disfigurement

Severe, possibly fatal injury

Worsening of underlying issues and disorders, if not adequately treated

Suicide risk

Although self-injury is not usually a suicide attempt, it can increase the risk of suicide because of the emotional problems that trigger self-injury. And the pattern of damaging the body in times of distress can make suicide more likely.

Prevention

There is no sure way to prevent your loved one’s self-injuring behavior. But reducing the risk of self-injury includes strategies that involve both individuals and communities. Parents, family members, teachers, school nurses, coaches or friends can help.

Identify someone at risk and offer help. Someone at risk can be taught resilience and healthy coping skills that can be used during periods of distress.

Encourage expansion of social networks. Many people who self-injure feel lonely and disconnected. Helping someone form connections to people who don’t self-injure can improve relationship and communication skills.

Raise awareness. Learn about the warning signs of self-injury and what to do when you suspect it.

Encourage peers to seek help. Peers tend to be loyal to friends. Encourage children, teens and young adults to avoid secrecy and reach out for help if they have a concern about a friend or loved one.

Talk about media influence. News media, music and other highly visible outlets that feature self-injury may nudge vulnerable children and young adults to experiment. Teaching children critical thinking skills about the influences around them might reduce the harmful impact.

Asthma is an allergic respiratory condition that causes inflammation and narrowing of the bronchial tubes. It is a chronic lung disease and is caused by when the airways narrow down. Attacks of asthma occur when there is an obstruction in the flow of air to the lungs. The airways get constricted due to an inflammation, which is often caused by allergies.

The common symptoms of asthma include shortness of breath, chest tightness, wheezing, cough, and build-up of mucus.

There are several ways to treat allergies/asthma naturally. The treatment method depends on the cause and severity of the attack.
Asthma flare-ups could be due to a number of reasons. Allergens such as pollen, dust, or weather conditions are common causes of asthma attacks. Some of the common triggers include:

Physical exertion

Animal dander

Emotional stress

Air pollution

Certain medications

1. Bitter gourd

This vegetable is known for its anti-inflammatory properties. Regular intake of bitter gourd helps fight inflammation in the lungs. It is best to grind it into a juice or thick paste and add a bit of honey and basil leaves.

2. Ginger

Ginger is an excellent anti-inflammatory ingredient that is highly effective to treat allergies/asthma naturally. It can be taken in the form of a juice along with pomegranate and honey. Ginger can be added to boiling water and simmered for 5 minutes. Once this cools down it can be consumed with honey. Additionally, adding fenugreek to ginger helps too.

3. Eucalyptus oil

Eucalyptus oil has decongestant properties that help clear the airways. It also helps flush out mucus. Eucalyptus oil can either be used on a hand towel, which will help clear one’s nose, or by adding it to water, which is then used for steam inhalation.

4. Honey

Honey is an integral part of ancient natural remedies for asthma. When taken regularly it can treat allergies/asthma naturally. It can be taken as a syrup mixed with cinnamon powder. Another way is to drink a glass of warm water mixed with honey.

5. Onion

The anti-inflammatory properties of onion help control the symptoms of asthma. Raw or cooked onions help fight the inflammation.

6. Gooseberries

Gooseberries are known to be a great antioxidant. Regular intake of gooseberries helps build immunity. Regularly consuming crushed gooseberries with honey helps fight the symptoms of asthma.
There are several effective ways to treat allergies or asthma naturally. One should try out various home remedies to find out what works best for them. Once an effective remedy is identified, it should be followed consistently for long-lasting results.

Here are some reasons you may not have realized you lived through childhood abuse:

1. You grew up in a well-to-do family.

“We were well-off, so everyone made sure to tell me how grateful I should be. I assumed the emptiness in me was my fault. After all, I should be grateful, so it couldn’t have been my parents, right? It wasn’t until I was adult that I even learned what emotional neglect was and am just wrapping my head around the role it’s played.” — James N.

“Money. The assumption is that rich families must be well-adjusted and good families and that a rich childhood means a very good one. When any wealthy child I knew growing up started showing mental health problems, they were labelled as being spoiled, ungrateful, high-strung, type A, etc. It didn’t occur to anyone that abuse or neglect could occur within our private school community because well-off people just don’t do that sort of thing. Truth sadly is that abuse and neglect are common in wealthy families.” — Heather F.

2. It wasn’t all bad.

“The thing that kept me from realizing I was being abused so much was the fact that there were good times in between. It wasn’t all bad. The abuse, physical and emotional, was awful, but I still loved my dad and family and they still loved me as sick and weird as that sounds.” — Hali B.

“I wasn’t an adult, but a teenager. And because the physical had stopped and because there was a cycle with ‘honeymoon’ type periods, I thought it was because of me, because I wasn’t good enough or that it was out of ‘tough love.’” — Paula H.

3. The abuse wasn’t physical.

“My abuse wasn’t physical. I thought for a long time that physical abuse was the only kind of abuse, and since I wasn’t being beaten, it couldn’t have been that bad. Other people had it worse, so I told myself for a long time that I should just suck it up, and that I was being whiny.” — Katherine H.

“It wasn’t physical abuse. I was used to defining abuse as bruises and cuts, broken bones and visible scars; growing up, I thought it was just my parents being reasonably strict and making their expectations clear. In reality, they were making cuts and bruises on my heart, on my soul. The scars were there the whole time — I just didn’t know what to look for.” — Kristiina M.

4. Dissociation.

“Dissociation… I blocked out almost all of my childhood. I lived my life through photo albums of our family. I made up stories to [go with] the pictures and I believed those stories were true. In my early 30s, I began having suppressed memories come back to me. I began to realize the stories of those pictures in the photo albums weren’t true. My childhood in reality was a far darker place. My mind protected my heart and soul through those pictures so I wouldn’t know what was really happening.” — Robin R.

“I developed dissociation as a coping mechanism at a very young age, and I used it to escape what was happening and hide those memories from myself.” — Jessa L.

5. You were isolated, so you didn’t realize the abuse was “abnormal.”

“Parents keeping me so isolated I assumed everyone was the same. Not to mention the threats if we did tell. Hindsight is always 20/20.” — Becky P.

“Seclusion. We were homeschooled in a church cult where everyone’s lives appeared to be the same as ours. There was no comparison to know that our ‘normal’ was extremely unhealthy and unsafe. There was no one looking out for us (family, school staff, medical professionals, etc).” — Hillary M.

“I wasn’t permitted over to other people’s homes, so I didn’t know it was abnormal. I didn’t truly grasp it until speaking with an internship supervisor when discussing a client’s case. She expressed sympathy and I was confused because it didn’t seem out of the ordinary.” — Lyndi J.

6. The abuse was normalized over many generations.

“The abuse was normalized over multiple generations in my family. My grandma abused my dad and mom (daughter-in-law), she abused me and my parents abused me. I didn’t have other regular sources of healthy relationships to look to to see it wasn’t normal, like a friend’s family or aunts/uncles because I was introverted, depressed and isolated myself all the time. I rarely hung out with friends outside of school hours and only saw extended family occasionally. I didn’t learn until my late 20s that my whole childhood was filled with abuse. To me it was normal and I thought this was how all families were.” — Kathryn R.

7. Your abuser sometimes apologized for their behavior.

“She would apologize sometimes, cry sometimes and I figured if they were really abusive, then they wouldn’t do either of those things. I didn’t think anyone could be such a good liar or so unstable as to be able to cry crocodile tears and say ‘sorry’ just to suck me back into the abuse. “ — Lexi R.

8. It made you feel special to be “so close” to your abuser.

“I assumed my being my mother’s ‘best friend’ was a positive thing. I realized after much therapy how ‘parentified’ I was and how emotionally incestuous she was. I filled the role of partner, friend, parent — everything. That’s not healthy for a child. Especially when some of the subjects discussed were hyper-sexual at a very young age. As a kid, I thought I was special. I never realized how it stifled my own personality and self.” — Monika S.

9. You couldn’t process it as a child.

“I think I always knew, but didn’t have the ability to process it until I was an adult. Once I was able to process and call it out for what it was, I was able to get the proper help to be able to deal with its consequences.” — Christopher C.

10. You were told it was just “discipline.”

“I was always told parents had a right to discipline their kids and that some kids had it worse than I did. If I wasn’t dying or bleeding, I was OK.” — Barbara L.

11. “Abuse” wasn’t in your vocabulary.

“‘Abuse’ was not in my vocabulary. I was perfectly aware that what was done to me was wrong. No one would challenge my abusers. Sometimes they wanted to join in. So. I was not worth saving.” — Sherry L.

12. You thought it was all “in your mind.”

“For me, I think it was all just in my mind. Despite everything I had gone through, I somehow convinced myself time and time again that my parents loved me. They had to love me right? They were my parents after all. And so many other people had it worse, so why would I complain? It’s still a hard pill to swallow, realizing they never did. Sometimes I feel vulnerable enough that if I saw my birth mom tomorrow and she apologized, I would let her walk right back in to my life.” — Rachel R.

13. You loved your abuser.

“Love. You’re often ‘blinded’ by love. Plus, being young and not knowing any better. If you grow up with something by seeing it and breathing it every day, it is all you know. It becomes the norm.” — Brittany J.

The Coronavirus Outbreak

  • Answers to your most common questions:Updated Feb. 26, 2020
    • What is a Coronavirus?
It is a novel virus named for the crown-like spikes that protrude from its surface. The coronavirus can infect both animals and people, and can cause a range of respiratory illnesses from the common cold to more dangerous conditions like Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome, or SARS.
    • How worried should I be?
New outbreaks in Asia, Europe and the Middle East are renewing fears of a global pandemic. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention warned this week that Americans should brace for the likelihood that the virus will spread to the United States.
    • How do I keep myself and others safe?
Washing your hands frequently is the most important thing you can do, along with staying at home when you’re sick.
    • What if I’m traveling?
The C.D.C. haswarned older and at-risk travelers to avoid Japan, Italy and Iran. The agency also has advised against all non-essential travel to South Korea and China.
    • How can I prepare for a possible outbreak?
Keep a 30-day supply of essential medicines. Get a flu shot. Have essential household items on hand. Have a support system in place for eldery family members.
    • Where has the virus spread?
The virus, which originated in Wuhan, China, has sickened more than 80,000 people in at least 33 countries, including Italy, Iran and South Korea.
    • How contagious is the virus?
According to preliminary research, it seems moderately infectious, similar to SARS, and is probably transmitted through sneezes, coughs and contaminated surfaces. Scientists have estimated that each infected person could spread it to somewhere between 1.5 and 3.5 people without effective containment measures.
    • Who is working to contain the virus?
The World Health Organization officials have been working with officials in China, where growth has slowed. But this week, as confirmed cases spiked on two continents, experts warned that the world is not ready for a major outbreak.

Neurons in the human brain produce photons, and are apparently capable of being the infrastructure for light-based communication and activity.

Over the last 100 years, scientists have realized, first in rats, that neurons in mammalian brains were capable of producing photons, or “biophotons.” The photons appear, though faintly, within the visible spectrum, running from near-infrared through violet, or between 200 and 1,300 nanometers. The question is why?

In biology, of course, “why” is an iffy question that presupposes intent, that is, some conscious designer at work. In fact, many traits just are, due to random mutation, and have simply never been selected out. It’s unknown so far if biophotons just are. But scientists have some exciting suspicions, and a recently published paper asks a tantalizing question: Are there optical communication channels in the brain? If the answer is yes, what’s being communicated? The very notion opens the conversation to a whole other level of operation in the brain that could even be on a previously undiscovered entangled quantum level.

The team wanted to know whether or not there existed an infrastructure over which light could travel from one place to another in the brain across the distances required, focusing on myelinated axons. Axons are the fibers that carry a neuron’s electrical signal outward; myelinated axons are covered in myelin, a fatty substance that electrically insulates the axon.

Biophotons can travel away from the neuron or back up toward the hillock. (WIKIPEDIA)

They modeled such axons, doing computations on how light would behave as the fibers bent, lost or gained thickness in their biophoton-absorbing myelin coating, or how they’d behave when crossing each other. The team concluded that light conduction across myelinated axons is feasible.

The axons could pass between 46% and 96% of the light they receive over a distance of 2 millimeters, the average length of a human brain’s axons, the percentage depending on bending, sheath thickness, etc. They also worked out that, though rat brains can pass just one biophoton per neuron a minute, human brains, with many more neurons, could convey more than a billion biophotons per second. All together, the researchers conclude, “This mechanism appears to be sufficient to facilitate transmission of a large number of bits of information, or even allow the creation of a large amount of quantum entanglement.” So there’s what could act as an entire network for light-based communication in place. But we don’t know what, if anything, it’s doing. The researchers proposed a set of in vitro and in vivo experiments for others to perform that could confirm their findings.

Meanwhile, did they say “entanglement?” Given the presence here of photons, the possibility has to cross one’s mind, since they go hand in hand, as it were, with entanglement. In the paper, the scientists are intrigued in particular with the interactions between photons and nuclear spins — the way nuclei turn causes different chemical effects — and how that affects things like magnetoreception in animals.

Given that there’s some distance between the biophotons and nuclear spins, the scientists wonder if there’s entanglement involved, saying, “for individual quantum communication links to form a larger quantum network with an associated entanglement process involving many distant spins, the nuclear spins interfacing with different axons must interact coherently. This, most likely, requires close enough contact between the interacting spins. The involvement of synaptic junctions between individual axons may provide such a proximity mechanism.” And since some people think entanglement could be behind whatever process it is that produces consciousness, well, where is this going to lead?

What’s is the frequency of the Universe?

432 Hz is said to be mathematically consistent with the patterns of theuniverse. It is said that 432 Hz vibrates with the universe’s golden mean PHI and unifies the properties of light, time, space, matter, gravity and magnetism with biology, the DNA code and consciousness.

What’s is the frequency of the human body?

One of the most beneficial researchers, Bruce Tainio of Tainio Technology, built another frequency monitor in 1992 and discovered that the average frequency of the human body during daytime is 62 to 68 Hz. According to Tainio, the body resonates frequency between 62 to 72 Hzwhen healthy .

8 ways to raise your vibration.

1. Become conscious of your thoughts.
Everything you think, say or feel becomes your reality. Every single thought that comes into your head has an impact on you. For example, I spent most years of my life saying “I have to have 8 hours sleep every night or I’ll become a rabbit in headlights”. I had that (limiting) belief cleared during a CTC session and hey presto! As long as I get minimum 6.5 hours I ain’t no rabbit! When you change those thoughts for the positive, your reality is likely to become positive too.

Easier said than done in the face of adversity though right? How ’bout this, the next time a negative thought shows up in your head, take the time to acknowledge it, thank it for showing up, and then dismiss it and turn it around for the positive.

2. Find something beautiful and appreciate it.
Beauty is all around us, yet so often we walk around with our blinkers on. Stop rushing for a moment and take the time to stand in the sun and appreciate your surroundings.

3. Be conscious of the foods you eat.
Some foods vibrate at high frequencies, and some lower (broccoli has a high vibration as do blueberries; Big Macs don’t vibrate at all ;-). If you are consuming foods covered in chemicals and pesticides, or foods found within plastic packaging, it will leave you vibrating lower. Conversely, consume good quality organic produce, food as nature intended it, and feel the high vibrations disseminate throughout your body. Most importantly, pay attention to how eating certain foods make your body feel.

4. Drink water.
Always ensure you drink plenty of water (filtered is best) to assist your body to flush out toxicity day to day. Toxicity has a marked impact on our vibration so we must do what we can to reduce it’s impact within us and around us.

5. Meditate.
Sit in a comfortable position, close your eyes and breath in and out. Too often we rush through our days with a scattered brain leaving us in a state of anxiety and stress. Meditation helps to calm your spirit down and put you in a peaceful state of mind. Just 10 minutes of meditation a day can change your life forever.

6. Be grateful.
Making a gratitude list shifts your vibrations from focusing on what you don’t have to what is already abundant in your life. There is more to be grateful for than you could possibly imagine. For example, every night when I go to bed I write down (in a little gratitude journal) 5 things I am grateful for that day. It’s such a beautiful exercise.

7. Practice acts of kindness.
Giving to someone else (without expecting anything in return) shifts your thinking from “I don’t have enough” or “Woe is me”, to “I have more than enough to give to others.” Abundance is a high vibration. In the same vein, being kind (as opposed to being mean) puts you at a high vibration. Gossip or treat others badly and your vibration will suffer.

8. Get your blood pumping.
Vibration requires movement, the more you move the better your vibrations move. So Get Active! Dance! The happier you feel, the more you will draw happy experiences to yourself because you are operating at a different frequency.

* If this gets you excited and you are eager to take your energy to a whole new height, have a read of this post by Cassandra Sturdy and you should consider yourself very well equipped!
Do you have any points to add to our list above? What are the activities that leave you with a higher vibration?

Why is music toned in 440?

The great 440 Hz conspiracy, and why all of our music is wrong: Alan Cross

By Alan Cross

Gather ’round, kids. Those of you with tinfoil hats may wish to ensure that they’re fitted snuggly. What I’m about to tell you will shake your faith in all the music you’ve heard in your life.

If you look down the right paths, it becomes clear that governments and various security apparatuses have used music to control us using music. All the music of the West that’s based on the standard 12-tone scale is used for the management of crowds as well as thought control.

Let’s begin with some music theory.
If musical performances were to sound the same the world over, some standardization was required. As early as 1885, the Music Commission of the Italian Government declared that all instruments and orchestras should use a tuning fork that vibrated at 440 Hz, which was different from the original standard of 435 Hz and the competing 432 Hz used in France.

In 1917, the American Federation of Musicians endorsed the Italians, followed by a further push for 440 Hz in the 1940s.

In 1953, a worldwide agreement was signed. Signatories declared that middle “A” on the piano be forevermore tuned to exactly 440 Hz. This frequency became the standard ISO-16 reference for tuning all musical instruments based on the chromatic scale, the one most often used for music in the West. All the other notes are tuned in standard mathematical ratios leading to and from 440 Hz.

This tone standard is now universally accepted, which is why a piano in Toronto sounds exactly the same as a piano in China.

Weirdly, no one can say for sure why this frequency was chosen in the first place. In fact, there those among us who vehemently disagree with this standard. In fact, they consider the 440 Hz middle “A” to be an abomination against nature

Adherents to this theory claim that a more “natural” frequency for middle “A” is 438 Hz. Others believe that the correct middle “A” is 432 Hz (also known as Verdi’s A) because it has “a pure tone of math fundamental to nature” and is “mathematically consistent with the patterns of the universe, vibrating with Phi, the Golden Ratio. They point to how this pitch can be connected to everything from nautilus shells to the works of the ancients, including the construction of the Great Pyramid.

Furthermore, 432 Hz resonates with 8 Hz (the Schumann Resonance), the documented fundamental electromagnetic “beat” of Earth. It just feels better.

Research says that music tuned from this frequency is easier to listen to, brighter, clearer, and contains more inherent dynamic range. As a result, music with this tuning need not be played at higher volumes and thus reduces the risk of hearing damage.
The more radical among middle “A” haters insist that the true frequency should be 528 Hz because it’s a “digital bio-holographic precipitation crystallization [and] miraculous manifestation of diving frequency vibrations.” I have no idea what that means.

Here’s where the conspiracy comes in. There is allegedly something sinister and evil about 440 Hz. It is said that the Rockefeller Foundation had an interest in making sure the United States adopted the 440 Hz standard in 1935 as part of a “war on consciousness” leading to “musical cult control.”
Without going too far down this rat hole, this theory says that tuning all music to 440 Hz turns it into a military weapon.

I quote from one of the many online articles on the subject: “The monopolization of the music industry features this imposed frequency that is ‘herding’ populations into greater aggression, psychosocial agitation, and emotional distress predisposing people to physical illnesses and financial impositions profiting the agents, agencies, and companies engaged in the monopoly.”

Whoa.

Going a little deeper, we end up at the doorstep of the Nazis. It is said that propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels insisted that on 440 Hz tuning in Germany because he believed it made people think and feel in specific ways, making them “a prisoner of a certain consciousness.” And if you’re trying to mobilize the population for Der Fuhrer, that’s exactly what you want, right?
There’s more from the Tinfoil Headphones crowd: “The powers that be are successfully lowering the vibrations of not only the young generation but the rest of us as well. These destructive frequencies entrain the thoughts towards disruption, disharmony, and disunity. Additionally, they also stimulate the controlling organ of the body — the brain — into disharmonious resonance, which ultimately creates disease and war.”
There’s something to think about the next time you pop in some earbuds. Does listening to music make you feel more warlike and diseased?

I’ve also been told that the different effects these frequencies have on our chakras. Songs tuned to 440 Hz work on the third eye chakra (the “thinking”) while 432 Hz stimulates the heart chakra (the “feeling”). Therefore, 432 Hz music increases the spiritual development of the listener. It may even have healing properties.
There are numerous organizations advocating a universal switch to 432 Hz, but that would involve upsetting worldwide standards, not to mention the construction and re-tuning of millions of musical instruments. Nice idea, but it ain’t gonna happen.
If that idea stressed you out, please meditate on this special 432 Hz music.

The Ancient Solfeggio Scale

These Solfeggio frequencies make up the sacred Solfeggio scale:

UT – 396 Hz

Intent: turning grief into joy, liberating guilt & fear

This frequency liberates the energy and has beneficial effects on feelings of guilt. It cleanses the feeling of guilt, which often represents one of the basic obstacles to realization, enabling achievement of goals in the most direct way. The ‘Ut’ tone releases you from the feeling of guilt and fear by bringing down the defense mechanisms. 396 Hz frequency searches out hidden blockages, subconscious negative beliefs, and ideas that have led to your present situations.

RE – 417 Hz

Intent: undoing situations and facilitating change

The next main tone from the Solfeggio scale produces energy to bring about change. This frequency cleanses traumatic experiences and clears destructive influences of past events. When speaking of cellular processes, tone ‘Re’ encourages the cell and its functions in an optimal way. 417 Hz frequency puts you in touch with an inexhaustible source of energy that allows you to change your life.

MI – 528 Hz

Intent: transformation and miracles (DNA repair)

Tone ‘Mi’ is used to return human DNA to its original, perfect state. This frequency brings transformation and miracles into your life. The process of DNA reparation is followed by beneficial effects – increased amount of life energy, clarity of mind, awareness, awakened or activated creativity, ecstatic states like deep inner peace, dance and celebration. Tone ‘Mi’ activates your imagination, intention and intuition to operate for your highest and best purpose.

FA – 639 Hz

Intent: re-connecting and balancing, relationships

Another frequency from the sacred Solfeggio scale. It enables creation of harmonious community and harmonious interpersonal relationships. Tone ‘Fa’ can be used for dealing with relationships problems – those in family, between partners, friends or social problems. When talking about cellular processes, 639 Hz frequency can be used to encourage the cell to communicate with its environment. This ancient Solfeggio frequency enhances communication, understanding, tolerance and love.

SOL – 741 Hz

Intent: solving problems, expressions/solutions

It cleans the cell (“Solve polluti“) from the toxins. Frequent use of 741 Hz leads to a healthier, simpler life, and also to changes in diet towards foods which are not poisoned by various kinds of toxins. Tone ‘Sol’ cleans the cell from different kinds of electromagnetic radiations. Another application of this sound frequency is solving problems of any nature. The fifth frequency of the Solfeggio scale will also lead you into the power of self-expression, which results in a pure and stable life.

LA – 852 Hz

Intent: awakening intuition, returning to spiritual order

Tone ‘La’ is linked to your ability to see through the illusions of your life, such as hidden agendas of people, places and things. This frequency can be used as means for opening a person up for communication with the all-embracing Spirit. It raises awareness and lets you return to spiritual order. Regarding cellular processes, 852 Hz enables the cell to transform itself into a system of higher level.

Additional research conducted by Dr. Leonard Horowitz claims to have revealed three more Solfeggio frequencies:

SI – 963 Hz

This tone awakens any system to its original, perfect state. It is connected with the Light and all-embracing Spirit, and enables direct experience, the return to Oneness. This frequency re-connects you with the Spirit, or the non-vibrational energies of the spiritual world. It will enable you to experience Oneness – our true nature.

174 Hz

The lowest of the tones appears to be a natural anaesthetic. It tends to reduce pain physically and energetically. 174 Hz frequency gives your organs a sense of security, safety and love, encouraging them to do their best.

285 Hz

This frequency helps return tissue into its original form. 285 Hz influences energy fields, sending them a message to restructure damaged organs. It also leaves your body rejuvenated and energized.

Solfeggio scale and the additional tones

As you already know, the original Solfeggio scale has 6 tones. The tones are: 396, 417, 528, 639, 741 & 852. Following the pattern established by these original tones, additional frequencies can be calculated. There are three frequencies which can be calculated below the 396 before breaking the pattern (63, 174, 285) and there are infinite frequencies that can be calculated above the 852. See below:

  • 63
  • 174 – reduce pain
  • 285 – influence energy fields
  • 396 – turn grief into joy
  • 417 – facilitate change
  • 528 – transformation & miracles
  • 639 – reconnecting, relationships
  • 741 – expressions/solutions
  • 852 – return to spiritual order
  • 963 – awaken perfect state
  • 1074
  • 1185
  • 1296
  • 1317
    etc.

All these additional frequencies reduce to a 3, 6, or 9, but does it mean that we should use them just like the main tones from the Solfeggio scale? To be honest, I would recommend focusing on the 9 Solfeggio tones. The 6 main and the 3 additional tones (174, 285, 936) hold an infinite array of healing properties. They have been well researched and many people experience their benefits every day. See the testimonials.

I know that some artists utilize the additional frequencies in their work and while there is nothing wrong with doing this, it is my experience that they don’t strengthen the power of the main tones. The same is about the so-called ‘Master frequency’ (1122Hz). Rather than trying to reinvent the wheel I would recommend applying the simplicity, beauty and harmony of the original Solfeggio scale.

What is a Nervous Breakdown?

A nervous breakdown can be described as an acute emotional or psychological collapse. The term nervous breakdown is not a medical term, but rather a colloquial term used by the general public to refer to and characterize a wide range of mental illnesses.

It generally occurs when a person is unable to function in social roles anymore, experiencing severe depression or feelings of being out of touch with reality. This often occurs after a long period of stress which has not been adequately dealt with.

This inability to function can occur in both work and personal arenas, resulting in difficulty in fulfilling obligations. It also causes the individual to develop physical, mental and emotional symptoms. A person experiencing symptoms of a nervous breakdown may feel extreme tiredness, weakness, episodes of uncontrollable crying, confusion, disorientation and feelings of worthlessness.

There may also be a loss of self-esteem and confidence, extreme weight loss or weight gain, disrupted sleep patterns and feelings of guilt and despair. In severe cases, an inability to move, called catatonic posturing, may result. This is a serious psychiatric condition and should not be taken lightly.

8 Remedies For Sciatica Pain You Need to Try Before Putting Another Painkiller in Your Mouth

The sciatic nerve is among the biggest in the body, starting at the lower spine, going through the buttocks, and ending down to the lower limb of the foot.

Its location makes it responsible for the strength, feeling and movement of legs.

Sciatica pain is a common issue, manifested by pain, tingling, weakness, and numbness of the lower limbs, and due to these signs, it may often be mistaken for leg cramps or lower back pain.

At times, it may lead to numbness and mild ache, but sometimes it causes almost unbearable, sharp, burning sensation in one side of the body.

The resulting discomfort and pain usually force people to stay in bed, and usually, patients use some over-the-counter drugs to relieve its symptoms, such as ibuprofen.

Research shows that even 40% of the world’s population will experience this issue at some point in their lives. We will reveal 8 natural ways to alleviate sciatica pain and treat the inflammation.
Acupuncture

Acupuncture is an alternative treatment, which includes the insertion of hair-fine needles at certain body points, aiming to help the nerve function and boost energy.

The relief of this therapy is felt even after the first treatment, but a few sessions can do miracles for the pain. Nowadays, acupuncture is extremely popular, as it has been shown to be effective in the case of migraines, stress, giving up smoking, and also to stimulate the lymph flow.

Chiropractic Adjustments

Research has shown that chiropractic adjustments can be effective in treating this issue, as the manipulation of the spine can alleviate pain, promote healing, treat inflammation, restore mobility, and enhance function.

ICE PACKS

Ice packs can instantly relieve sciatica. You can also use a simple package of frozen peas wrapped in a towel, and place it directly on the painful area. Leave it for 20 minutes I every 3 hours, and the pain will be completely relieved.

Alternate Temperatures

Ice packs definitely provide an instant relief, but they cannot do deeper and treat the inflammation, and the sciatic nerve is deep in the body. Therefore, you should apply a hot pack immediately after the ice pack, or you can have a hot bath.

The alternation of temperatures will stimulate the circulation and lymph flow, and thus, you will treat the inflammation, and accelerate its healing. For improved results, you can add some essential oils, herbs, or Epsom salts to your bath.

Mild (Yoga) Stretches

Even though every single movement can be painful, you need to be active in order to accelerate healing. Therefore, you can practice yoga stretches or gentle back stretches. In this way, you will improve mobility, strengthen the muscles on the back, and boost the blood flow.

Massage

Trigger-point therapies or deeper massaging is extremely effective in treating pain, muscle spasms, and numbness of the toes and legs. Moreover, you will benefit a lot from the use of herb-infused oils and essential oils.

Herbs And Oils

Numerous natural herbs can provide great effects, as they reduce inflammation and treat pain. These herbs can be used via infused oils, capsules, salves, and liniments.

Furthermore, you can use these herbs in tinctures, elixirs, essential oils, and tea from fresh or dried herbs, and alleviate pain.

Yet, before you start using natural herbs, consult your doctor, in order to check if they interfere with some medications you take. These are the most helpful herbs you can use in order to reduce inflammation, and pain, and support nerve health:

Turmeric or curcumin (mix it with black pepper in order to increase its bioavailability)

Roman chamomile

Devil’s claw

Milky oat tops

White willow bark

Mullein root

Clary Sage

Lavender

Licorice

St. John’s Wort

Skullcap

Jamaican dogwood

Linden flower

Kratom

Arnica

Sleep

Make sure you get enough sleep, in order to relax the muscles and the body, and strengthen and rebuild the nerves.

Although science has not confirmed these alternative sciatica pain remedies, numerous people have experienced significant relief due to them, and have succeeded to control cramps, spasms, pain and numbness.

Yet, in case you experience these symptoms longer that a couple of weeks, you should visit your doctor, as you may have some other condition which pinches the nerves or leads to pressure, such as dislocated vertebrae, and another therapy, or a surgery, may be the solution
